Best Bar in San Antonio

5 Monkeys absolutely blew me away! The food, the presentation, and the overall experience were on another level. I ordered the roasted chicken plate, and it came out looking like something straight off a chef’s showcase — perfectly charred, juicy, and packed with flavor. The creamy risotto-style side with corn and beans was rich and comforting, and that extra sauce on the side tied everything together perfectly. I also tried the mozzarella sticks, and they were spot-on: crispy, golden, and paired with dipping sauces that actually had flavor instead of the usual bland stuff you get elsewhere. Everything tasted fresh and made with care. On top of that, the atmosphere was relaxed and inviting, and the beer was ice cold — exactly what you want when you’re out enjoying good food. Highly recommend 5 Monkeys. If you want great food, great service, and great vibes, this place delivers every single time!

My husband and I were driving by yesterday and saw the lights that spelled out “OPEN” so we decided to check it out for dinner/drinks. Turned out it was their grand opening! Food was delicious and we will definitely be back very soon! Owner is the nicest guy!

I recently had a fantastic steak dinner at 5Monkeys Sports Bar and Grill, and it absolutely hit the mark. The steak was cooked to perfection—tender, juicy, and full of flavor. What really took it to the next level were the fresh, house-made sauces that complemented the steak perfectly. Each one added its own delicious kick and made the meal feel even more special. The experience was made even better by the awesome service. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was just right from start to finish. The drinks were also excellent—well-mixed, refreshing, and the perfect pairing for the meal. Overall, 5Monkeys delivered a great night out with incredible food, great vibes, and service that went above and beyond. Definitely a spot I’d recommend and return to!

Visited this new Spots Bar and Restaurante today — I actually found this place while passing by and noticed the OPEN sign. I decided to step in and I’m glad I did! I tried the Chicken Succotash and it was absolutely delicious — the chicken was super juicy and the vegetables were perfectly cooked. The staff was really friendly, and they even serve complimentary nuts with drinks, which feels amazing and adds a nice touch. I loved the overall experience and I definitely recommend this place. A must-try spot in San Antonio!
